This is the Munekawa leather goods production workshop located in Daikokucho, Osaka.
We are producing the L-shaped zipper wallet Cram for the Christmas season.
Munekawa is a team of six people who handle everything from planning to production and sales.
Production is also carried out by a small team of two people , who work together to efficiently produce one product.
We make the most of the limited time and manpower we have and complete each piece carefully.
The L-shaped zipper wallet Cram's greatest features are its functionality and compact size .
For this reason, meticulous precision is required in the production.
Even slight deviations in the thickness, size, or sewing position of the leather parts can make a big difference in the finished product.
This shows the edge (cut surface) being finished.
If left as is, the cut edges of leather will become fuzzy and will gradually become damaged with prolonged use.
By soaking the product in chemicals and thoroughly polishing the edges, we have increased its durability so you can use it for a long time with peace of mind, and it feels comfortable to hold in your hand.
Each and every step in the process has meaning, and it is only by completing each step carefully that a leather product is finally completed.
This year we made a lot of products.
There is not much time left in 2024, but we will continue to work hard for the remaining time to make Munekawa's leather accessories so that those who purchase them and those who are looking forward to them will be pleased.
The Munekawa direct store on the second floor of the production atelier is open every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday .
For the remainder of 2024, we will be open until 18:30 on Monday, December 30th .
