What is the thin bi-fold wallet Carriage?
Carriage is a bi-fold wallet that can hold bills and cards.
This wallet is designed to resemble a money clip , and stores bills by sandwiching them between the card slots.
The structure has been designed to completely eliminate waste, so the key point is that it allows you to hold a large number of bills in a thin wallet.
It can hold 20 to 25 bills.
There is one card pocket where you can store your cards together.
It can hold about 10 to 15 standard size cards.

What is "Bridle Leather"?
The bridle leather we use is from the British company " Thomas Ware & Sons ", which has been a familiar name at Munekawa for the past few years.
TW&S is a long-established tannery with over 150 years of history.
Bridle leather made using traditional methods has a firm texture and a presence that is characteristic of bridle leather.
Bridle leather is a leather material that was first made in England for use in horse tack and is known for its extreme strength .
After being thoroughly tanned with vegetable tannins, the surface is impregnated with wax (bloom) to increase durability.
When you first start using it, The bloom that has permeated the inside of the leather appears as a white color, giving it the unique appearance of bridle leather, but with continued use the bloom will settle and a glossy finish will become visible.

Made with repeated improvements and attention to detail
Carriage is a product that we have been making for over 20 years.
Although the shape is simple, we continued to ask ourselves, " How can we make it more compact and less likely to break? " and made repeated small updates until we arrived at this shape.
This leather wallet is full of the Munekawa style, which is never satisfied with the status quo and continues to seek out better forms.
In addition, we have spared no effort in the details , such as triple backstitching to increase strength in the folded parts, which are prone to stress.
Because we are a small team, the number of pieces is small, but because we are producing a small number of pieces, we have spared no effort in making them carefully.
