This time, we are using shell cordovan from Horween, a world-famous tannery based in Chicago, USA.

Shell cordovan is a trademark of Horween Leather Company .

It is known as a rare, high-quality leather because it is made using traditional methods using the skin of horse buttocks, which is a rare breed.

Because the oil penetrates deep into the fibers, it feels softer than regular cordovan and has a slightly matte texture, which is one of Horween shell cordovan's characteristics.

This is the first time Munekawa has used navy shell cordovan.

The deep, muted color and luster give it a unique personality that is hard to find anywhere else.
