It is designed to be not too big to be used as a key chain, yet easy to use as a shoe horn.
It's smart and convenient, and you can take it out of your pocket or bag and use it right away. It's a small but attractive item. The ring parts are made of stainless steel, which is resistant to rust and does not peel off even after many years of use. To prevent the product from being heavy or bulky, we have deliberately made it without a metal plate. It is a simple and lightweight product made of leather only. You can choose from 10 colors. .

In August 2020, Grid was offered in 5 limited colors of Cordovan: black, green, burgundy, blue, and yellow. In Munekawa's marketing photos they all looked beautiful, but in person I thought blue and yellow looked best. My photo (2024) shows burgundy (new), yellow (new), and my yellow Grid (from 2020) so you can see how the color has evolved with age. I decided to retire my 4-year-old yellow Cordovan Grid and bought a new burgundy Grid which looks so beautiful and shiny in person. I look forward to how it will patina and evolve over time.
Grid is sized just big enough to be practical and effective as a shoehorn but compact enough to not feel bulky in the pocket. It has a gentle curve for your heel and I find I use it quite often. For comparison, the yellow one I bought in 2020 was softer, more pliable than the burgundy I bought in 2024 which is quite firm and rigid (I prefer this).
As with all Munekawa products I've bought the leather smells great, the items feel good in the hand, and the craftsmanship is exceptional which adds to the enjoyment and pride of owning them.
