TAURILLON LAGUN is a shrink leather made by Rémy Carriat, a tannery in the Basque region of southern France that has been preserving a tradition for nearly 100 years.
Shrink leather is leather that has been processed to create wrinkles called grain on the surface during the leather finishing process.
Because it is a natural shrink, the size of the grain is not uniform, but it is characterized by its rich, three-dimensional appearance.

The high-quality leather used by high-end brands is moist and fluffy and soft to the touch.

The lining is made from highly acclaimed Japanese pigskin.
By using dark brown leather for the lining, which is prone to getting dirty from coins and cards, the stains are less noticeable.
