The production of new Munekawa bags is progressing.
This shoulder bag is made of water-repellent canvas and leather, and is based on the concept of a shoulder bag that can be used both for fishing and in town.
We asked the staff who planned, produced, and actually use these bags about how they feel, how to use them, and their favorite features.
In this blog, we will introduce a review of the new shoulder bag by production staff members Takahashi and Abe.
Review by production staff member Abe
What's in it
Pouches, lunch boxes, notebooks, ballpoint pens, water bottles, folding umbrellas, etc.
My impressions after using it
What I like about this shoulder bag is that it has lots of pockets so you can keep all your belongings in one place .
I also put tall items such as water bottles and folding umbrellas in it.
There are lots of pockets, each with ample capacity, so it's easy to organize and store things without having to carry a pouch or bag-in-bag.
The front pocket can hold valuables and small items such as a wallet and keys, but it is also deep and wide enough to hold things like a folding umbrella.

How to wear it
The canvas fabric is water-repellent , so it repels water to a certain extent, and it is a sturdy fabric that does not easily pill, so I think it is easy to use and is suitable for everyday use.
I hope everyone will use it roughly in a variety of situations!

What's in it
Folding umbrella, pouch, valuables, portable battery, notebook, etc.
My impressions after using it
What I like about this bag is that it's the perfect size - not too big and not too small.
Personally, I find it very useful as it can hold a folding umbrella and A4-sized files .
It doesn't look that big, but it has enough capacity to hold all the things you need for work and your essentials all in one place.
It can also hold plastic bottles and water bottles, and I think it will be useful for a wide range of people for everyday use around town.
The back pocket can securely store notebooks and A4 files.
The bag is designed to be easily stored by laying it on its side and sliding it around.
I also like how the whole bag has a calming feel to it.
The leather used is Italian leather that is rich in oil, so it will age (change over time) even if you do not take care of it frequently.
Not only the leather, but also the brass used for the metal fittings and the main canvas material are materials that change over time, so the more you use it, the more characterful it will become.
I'm looking forward to using it as both a work bag and a fishing bag, and enjoying seeing how it changes as I continue to use it.
It's almost complete. Look forward to the start of sales!
