Brass leather

The redesigned "Brass" uses two types of leather and is available in a total of four colors.

Maremma [Black/Dark Brown]

Maremma is a vegetable-tanned cowhide from Italy.

This leather is rich in oils, allowing for a beautiful aging process (patina) to be enjoyed even without frequent care.

Bridle Leather [Black/Dark Brown]

Bridle leather from Thomas Ware & Sons of England.

This popular leather material has enthusiasts all over the world due to its hard, elegant texture and high strength.

Available in two lengths.

Belts are available in two sizes to accommodate different body types:

  • Standard size: up to 95cm
  • Long size: 95cm to 110cm

Solid brass buckle

As its name "Brass" suggests, a key feature of the Brass series is the use of solid brass for the buckles.

Initially, it has a shiny golden color, but over time, it will transform into a subdued, antique-like shade as shown in the image.

Constructed with a leather core for a three-dimensional form

We use a genuine leather core inside the belt, giving it a three-dimensional, luxurious shape.

Without losing its suppleness and strength, it naturally molds to your body, allowing you to use it for a long time as "a belt that fits your body."

The back is made of Buttero leather.

The back is made of Italian Buttero leather. As it ages, it develops a different character from the front, allowing you to enjoy a profound change in the entire leather as you use it.

How to Adjust the Belt Size

Adjusting the Length of the Brass

The brass buckle has a screw-back design, allowing you to cut the leather yourself and adjust the length.

We have released a video explaining how to adjust the belt length.

  • Customers who visit our directly managed stores will have their measurements taken on the spot and their belts cut by our staff.
  • For customers who purchase from our online shop, we include a tool and instructions for punching holes in the belt.
  • If you provide your size when purchasing from our online shop, we will cut the belt to size and send it to you.

Frequently Asked Questions about Brass

My body shape has changed, so I'd like to shorten the length. Can you cut it for me?

Certainly. If you already have a belt, please bring it with you, and we will cut it to fit your current body.

Can I use a leather belt on a rainy day?

Light rain won't cause major problems, but extreme wetness can lead to stains and loss of shape, so please avoid it as much as possible. If it gets wet, wipe off the moisture with a soft cloth and dry it in the shade.

Can you engrave a name on it?

We apologize, but Brass products cannot be engraved with names.

Does it require maintenance?

After use, lightly wipe with a dry cloth, and moisturize with leather cream a few times a year to maintain its beautiful condition. The brass parts can be polished to restore their shine, but you can also enjoy their natural changes without doing anything.

Additionally, leaving a sweat-soaked belt attached to your pants can cause deterioration and mold. If you've sweated, please remove the belt from your pants after use and let it air dry.

Rust-like residue has appeared around the metal fittings.

The rust observed on the metal fittings is a type of rust called verdigris, which occurs when metals like copper and brass react with moisture and salt in the air.

Gently remove the verdigris with a cotton swab or a piece of cloth, then polish and remove it from the surface of the affected metal fittings using a specialized cream or metal polishing cloth.
