Repairing broken and frayed threads
1. Partially untie the thread
Carefully untie each stitch in any loose or frayed areas.
2. Preparation for resewing
Sew together by hand or with a sewing machine, dropping the needle back into the original needle hole.
3. Thread fastener
By melting the ends of the thread with a hot iron and burning them in place, it becomes less likely to come undone.
By re-stitching it, you can restore its usability and use it comfortably again.
If the leather is torn, it may not be possible to repair it, so please contact us as soon as possible.
-Repair procedure-
- We will take the item in for inspection and then contact you with a quote.
- It depends on the condition, but you can expect to pay between ¥2,000 and ¥15,000.
- Please note that it will take approximately 1 to 3 weeks from the time we receive your item.
- If it is difficult for us to keep your items for an extended period of time, please feel free to contact us and we will work to return your items to you as quickly as possible.
- If you would like to request a repair by delivery, please contact us in advance by phone or email (with an image attached) before sending the item.
- Please clearly state the following: 1) Name, 2) Phone number, 3) Return address, 4) Repair area.
- We will contact you once the repairs are completed.
- The customer is responsible for the round-trip shipping costs.
